It was a beautiful day for a run, although I was pretty sore from FIT last night.
Stats:
13.1 miles
1:58:31
9:02 average pace
The run was overall kind of slow, but here's why:
Splits:
Mile 1~9:13
Mile 2~9:27
Mile 3~9:02
Mile 4~9:34
Mile 5~9:51
Mile 6~9:57
Mile 7~9:25
Mile 8~9:12
Mile 9~9:17
Here's where things started to turn around...
Mile 10~8:37
Mile 11~7:51
Mile 12~8:36
Mile 13~7:43
Mile 13.1~6:31
The long run for this week was supposed to be 15, but I'm pretty sure this qualifies. It was that hard. The run basically turned into a 13 mile run including a 25 minute progression run at the end. We were both exhausted by the end. I can't believe we made that route a 20-miler last year. It is the perfect tough 13 miler. After showers and a quick walk for the pup, we went out for some well deserved sandwiches and ate lunch in the park.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!

I love that your slow run would be super fast for me. You are so freaking awesome!
yum! love pumpkin spice!
great job on the run!
I love doing trail runs every once in awhile to mix it up, but I've never done (nor would I want to) further than 12 miles on the trails/hills! They are HARD!
Wow--looks gorgeous! And talk about elevation!
amazing !!! great job on the run ! Very impressive time!
Wow, what beautiful scenery. I'm always desperate to find new running routes. Neighborhoods are my best be around here. :-(
